Refund Policy - the basics
At Raffiel Nias, we understand that travel plans can change. To keep things fair for both guests and our small family-run hotel, we use the following refund policy:
1. Standard Bookings (Short Stay 1–7 Nights)

Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
A full refund will be issued. -
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival
A 50% charge of the total stay applies. -
No-show or same-day cancellation
The full booking amount is non-refundable.
2. Long-Stay Bookings (8+ Nights or Monthly Stays)

A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking.

Deposits for long-term stays are non-refundable, but dates may be rescheduled once (subject to availability) if requested at least 14 days before arrival.
3. Peak Season / Surf Season
(April–October)

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Earlier cancellations (15+ days) receive a 50% refund.
4. Early Departure
If a guest checks out earlier than the confirmed reservation, the remaining nights are non-refundable.
5. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 7 business days.

International transfers may take longer depending on the bank.
6. Direct Bookings vs. Third-Party Platforms

Bookings made through platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb, etc.) follow their rules.
